Regarding Coronavirus COVID-19

The safety of our patrons is the Springer’s Number One priority. The Georgia Department of Public Health and the Columbus Health Department are both monitoring the status of the Coronavirus COVID-19 closely.  There are no confirmed cases of the virus south of Atlanta and no evidence of what the CDC calls "community spread" in Georgia or Alabama. Citizens are encouraged to take the normal precautions they usually take during flu season:

1.    More frequent hand washing.

2.    Avoid touching your face.

3.    If you are sick, stay home.

4.    Avoid shaking hands and hugging friends at public gatherings.

As an extra precaution during this period, all surfaces that theatre patrons come in contact with are being sanitized and disinfected multiple times each day.  In addition, we are doubling the number hand-sanitizer stations throughout the building.  If the situation changes and the Health Department reports a threat of "community spread,." the Springer will notify our patrons and take appropriate action.  Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you at the Springer!
